It is commonly available in metal cans or vacuum-packed bricks and can be sliced ​​or heated directly for consumption. The upstream sector involves pork cutting and ingredient systems (lean meat ratio 70–90%, fat 10–30%, starch/plant protein 2–8%, spices 0.5–2%, cold chain and slaughter standardization); the midstream sector involves filling and heat processing (core temperature ≥121 °C, sterilization F₀ 6–12, specifications 200–340 g/1–2.5 kg, vacuum degree and seal integrity control); and the downstream sector covers retail, catering, and industrial food manufacturing. In the future, growth will be driven by "low-sodium clean labels," "high-protein functionalization," "lightweight and recyclable packaging," and "smaller sizes for e-commerce and convenience channels." Regional flavors and private label brands will continue to increase their penetration, maintaining a moderate overall growth rate.
