A parallel flow condenser for automotive air conditioners is a heat exchanger used to cool and condense high-temperature, high-pressure refrigerant vapor from the compressor into liquid refrigerant. Compared with older tube-and-fin or serpentine condensers, parallel flow condensers offer higher heat-transfer efficiency, lower refrigerant charge, compact structure, and lighter weight.
