Cathode lithium supplementation has the greatest industrial application potential due to its high safety and the fact that it does not require changes to existing battery manufacturing processes. Currently, the main materials used as cathode lithium supplementation additives include lithium-rich compounds, conversion reaction-based nanocomposites, and binary lithium compounds.
