Its supply chain begins with upstream feedstocks such as propylene monomer (derived from crude oil or natural gas), ethylene, elastomers, mineral fillers (e.g., talc and calcium carbonate), stabilizers, antioxidants, processing aids, and color masterbatches supplied by petrochemical and specialty chemical manufacturers. Midstream activities involve polypropylene resin production, impact modification through compounding, pelletization, quality testing, and distribution by resin producers and compounders. Downstream customers include automotive parts manufacturers, injection molding companies, extrusion processors, thermoforming manufacturers, appliance OEMs, packaging converters, and industrial product manufacturers that process the modified resin into finished components for transportation, consumer goods, electrical and electronics, healthcare, infrastructure, and other industrial applications.
