According to our (Global Info Research) latest study, the global CRT Pacemaker market size was valued at US$ 2238 million in 2025 and is forecast to a readjusted size of US$ 2952 million by 2032 with a CAGR of 4.2% during review period.
A Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy Pacemaker is an implantable cardiac device designed to coordinate the contractions of the right and left ventricles by delivering precisely timed electrical pacing pulses. It is primarily used in selected heart-failure patients with impaired ventricular contraction and electrical conduction delay.
A conventional system normally consists of an implantable pulse generator and leads positioned in the right atrium, right ventricle and a vein serving the left ventricle. The pulse generator senses cardiac activity, delivers pacing therapy and stores diagnostic information for device follow-up.
The market includes implantable CRT pacemaker pulse generators with biventricular or other approved resynchronization-pacing configurations. Devices with magnetic-resonance-conditional labeling, quadripolar left-ventricular pacing, adaptive therapy and remote-monitoring functions are included.
Standard single-chamber and dual-chamber pacemakers, CRT defibrillators, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators, leads, external programmers, remote-monitoring transmitters, implantation procedures and hospital services are excluded.
In 2025, the global ASP was approximately US$11,500 per unit, global sales volume was approximately 189,130 units, and the estimated average gross margin was approximately 73%.
The upstream chain includes medical-grade batteries, integrated circuits, capacitors, titanium enclosures, feedthroughs, connectors, sensors and biocompatible materials. Midstream activities include circuit design, pacing-algorithm development, hermetic sealing, software validation, sterilization, clinical evaluation, regulatory registration and batch release. Downstream users include hospitals, cardiac centers and qualified electrophysiology facilities.
Market demand is supported by the growing number of patients living with heart failure and the expansion of specialized cardiac care. Population aging and improved survival after myocardial infarction and other cardiovascular diseases increase the number of patients who may subsequently develop chronic heart failure.
CRT-P occupies a distinct position from CRT-D. It provides cardiac resynchronization and pacing without defibrillation therapy and may be selected when defibrillation is not clinically required, when the expected benefit is limited, or when patient characteristics favor a pacing-only approach.
Quadripolar left-ventricular pacing is becoming more widely adopted. Multiple pacing-vector options can help physicians manage high pacing thresholds, phrenic-nerve stimulation and variation in coronary-vein anatomy without physically repositioning the lead.
Magnetic-resonance-conditional systems and longer battery life are important purchasing factors. Patients with chronic heart failure frequently require medical imaging and long-term follow-up, while longer device longevity can reduce the frequency of generator-replacement procedures.
Remote monitoring is increasingly integrated into postoperative management. Connected systems can transmit device status, battery information, pacing data and selected clinical alerts, reducing unnecessary hospital visits while supporting earlier review of device-related changes.
Conduction-system pacing is developing as an alternative or complementary approach to conventional coronary-sinus left-ventricular pacing. This technology may broaden resynchronization options, but it also creates competition for conventional CRT-P configurations and requires additional physician training.
