Carbon Capture Mineralization is a carbon management process that captures carbon dioxide from industrial exhaust gases, biogenic sources or the atmosphere and then reacts it with calcium- or magnesium-rich minerals, alkaline industrial wastes, concrete residues or other reactive materials to form stable inorganic carbonates. The process may be carried out in above-ground reactors, concrete production systems or underground reactive rock formations.
