Downstream, C9 hydrocarbon resins are widely used as tackifiers and performance modifiers in adhesives, hot-melt adhesives, rubber compounding (especially tire manufacturing), coatings, printing inks, sealants, and asphalt modification, serving industries such as automotive, packaging, construction, and road infrastructure.
