Downstream, branched alkylphenols are used as key intermediates in the production of antioxidants, surfactants (alkylphenol ethoxylates), epoxy resin modifiers, lubricant additives, rubber processing chemicals, coatings, and polymer stabilizers, serving industries such as plastics, detergents, automotive, electronics, and industrial chemicals.
