It travels together with a product, test board, carrier or fixture through reflow ovens, wave soldering machines, vapor phase soldering systems, curing ovens, heat-treatment furnaces, kilns, baking ovens, laminators and other batch or continuous thermal processing equipment. The system records the actual thermal exposure experienced by the product and generates key process indicators such as peak temperature, ramp rate, dwell time, time above liquidus, cooling rate, temperature uniformity, process window index and traceable process reports. It is mainly used in electronics assembly, semiconductor packaging, automotive components, aerospace heat treatment, powder coating, food processing, ceramics, glass, photovoltaics and lithium battery manufacturing.
