This grade holds irreplaceable engineering value in applications demanding stringent low-temperature toughness and biocompatibility, including aero-engine compressor casings and cryogenic fuel tanks, liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen aerospace plumbing and valves, marine corrosion-resistant structural components and deep-submergence hulls, as well as surgical implants and medical devices.
Pricing of TA7 titanium alloy is cost-plus based, with a stable spread between aerospace-grade and industrial-grade material.
