For example, Mindray’s current ultrasonic surgical and electrosurgical energy platform incorporates tissue-sensing and enhanced vessel-sealing technologies and supports vessel sealing of up to 7 mm. Medtronic, meanwhile, received CE certification in 2025 for its LigaSure RAS vessel-sealing technology for use with the Hugo robotic-assisted surgery system and continued to advance regulatory submissions for new robotic LigaSure instruments in 2026.
