Qualified products must also maintain an appropriate balance among resin flow, curing rate, surface quality, and interlaminar adhesion.
The upstream supply chain of Styrene Emission Suppressant primarily includes paraffin wax and modified wax, polyester resin feedstock, fatty acid, polyol, organic solvent, surfactant, and stabilizer. Formulations are adjusted according to resin polarity, styrene content, and processing requirements. Downstream demand mainly comes from the unsaturated polyester resin, vinyl ester resin, gel coat, and fiberglass-reinforced composite industries. The product is generally added during resin formulation or composite processing by resin manufacturers and composite product manufacturers, and is ultimately used in open-mold applications such as marine, automotive component, sanitary ware, storage tank and pipe, and construction composite.
