A single-wall carbon nanotube (SWCNTs) is just like a regular straw. It has only one layer, or wall. Production technology: The mainstream method is high-temperature chemical vapor deposition (CVD), which requires precise control of catalysts (such as iron and cobalt) and reaction conditions to achieve high-purity mass production. Russian OCSiAl has achieved large-scale production through its proprietary “Super Growth” technology, while Chinese companies such as Tiannai Technology and Guizhou Xicheng have overcome technical bottlenecks using fluidized bed CVD and third-generation horizontal furnace CVD equipment.
