Silicone elastomer sheet is a polymer synthetic material, mainly composed of siloxane, cross-linking agent, catalyst and filler, etc., with very good flexibility and elasticity. Siloxane molecules are composed of silicon atoms and oxygen atoms, which are the basic components of silicone elastomers and provide the main structure and properties of the material. The flexibility and stability of the siloxane molecular chain make silicone elastomer sheets have good heat resistance, cold resistance, aging resistance, non-expansion, and insolubility in water. The cross-linking agent is a compound used to connect siloxane molecules, which connects siloxane molecules into a three-dimensional network structure through chemical bonds, thereby increasing the strength and stability of silicone elastomers. Catalysts are used to promote the connection reaction between cross-linking agents and siloxane molecules, making the cross-linking process more efficient and controllable. Fillers are used to increase the volume and consistency of silicone elastomers, improve the processing performance of materials and reduce costs. Common fillers include powders such as calcium carbonate and zinc oxide.
