Its upstream mainly includes fluorochemical raw materials, fluorination reaction feedstocks, high-purity gas purification materials, gas cylinders, and valve packaging systems. In the midstream, R14 is typically produced and purified into industrial-grade or high-purity products through direct fluorination, fluorochloromethane conversion, recovery purification, and refining processes. Downstream applications mainly include ultra-low-temperature refrigeration, scientific research and experimentation, medical freezing, and industrial testing. Due to the high global warming potential of R14 and the fact that the same chemical can also be used as an electronic specialty gas in high-purity specifications, the industry has relatively high requirements for product purity, impurity control, packaging safety, recycling management, and environmental compliance.
