Manufacturing Process and Market Trends:
PVT solar panels, or photovoltaic-thermal integrated modules, are manufactured by first stringing and arranging monocrystalline cells, then stacking them with a high thermal conductivity insulating film and copper-aluminum heat absorber to form a sandwich structure. This sandwich structure, along with ultra-white tempered glass, is then vacuum-laminated. After lamination, an aluminum anode frame is attached, a junction box is installed, and polyurethane insulation and a backsheet are applied. Finally, the panel undergoes hydraulic pressure testing for leaks, insulation withstand voltage testing, flashback testing, and even EL microcrack screening to be considered合格 (qualified). The real bottleneck in this production line lies not in the design but in the reliable balance between the lamination temperature and pressure window and the electrical insulation between metals. Even slight air bubbles or thermal stress can shorten the cell lifespan.
On the market side, it is driven by scenarios such as building cogeneration, hotel and hospital hot water, and industrial preheating, where "the same square meter needs both electricity and heat." However, its mass production is hampered by system complexity and the reliability of a 25-year lifespan. The trend is converging towards lightweight aluminum extrusion microchannel heat absorbers, one-time molding low-stress lamination processes, and standardized and modular hydraulic interfaces. Whoever can deliver durability proof, simplified installation, and closed-loop operation and maintenance together will not be trapped in model and demonstration projects.
