PFA heat shrink tubing is made of fluorinated ethylene propylene copolymer (perfluoroethylene propylene copolymer). PFA heat shrink tubing has functions such as high-temperature shrinkage, soft flame retardancy, insulation and corrosion resistance. Therefore, PFA heat shrink tubing is widely used for insulation protection of various wire harnesses, solder joints, inductors, as well as rust prevention and corrosion resistance of metal tubes and rods. The material used to make PFA heat shrink tubing is non combustible, which can effectively prevent the spread of flames and alleviate the spread of fire. PFA heat shrink tubing has extremely strong temperature tolerance and can operate normally in environments ranging from -80 ℃ to 250 ℃ without any problems due to temperature. The polymer material of PFA heat shrink tubing undergoes a transition from glass state to high elastic state as the temperature increases. When PFA heat shrink tubing is in the glass state, its performance is close to that of plastic, while when it is in the high elastic state, its performance is close to that of rubber. In addition, PFA heat shrink tubing also has excellent chemical stability. Apart from reacting with fluorine elements, molten alkali metals, and other chemicals at high temperatures, it will not corrode when in contact with other chemicals.
