Perovskite Crystal Silicon Stacked Battery are multi-junction photovoltaic devices. Perovskite solar cells utilize perovskite-type organometal halide semiconductors as light-absorbing materials and belong to the third generation of solar cells. Perovskite-crystalline silicon tandem cells are compatible with existing crystalline silicon production capacity and can be combined with existing HJT and TOPCon routes. Upgrading products can be achieved simply by adding perovskite technology to existing production lines. The resulting tandem modules are expected to achieve efficiencies exceeding 30%, representing a generational difference compared to traditional crystalline silicon. Perovskite solar cell manufacturers, crystalline silicon manufacturers, and equipment manufacturers have reached a consensus on the multilayer technology route, which will become the industry mainstream.
