There are no rotating parts throughout the process, and the initial separation of oil, water, and solid phases is achieved by the flow field itself. A single unit can process several to hundreds of cubic meters per hour. Multiple units are often connected in parallel to form a skid. It is a core piece of equipment for replacing traditional oil separators on offshore platforms and onshore joint stations, and is also used in the pretreatment lines for fracturing flowback fluid and drilling mud oil removal.
