The flameless carburizing furnace is an industrial heat treatment equipment that provides a high temperature environment through non-combustion methods (such as resistance heating or induction heating) and combines a controllable carburizing medium (gas, plasma or vacuum) to perform surface carburizing on metal workpieces. Its core process is: in a closed furnace, the workpiece is heated to 900-1050°C, and a carbon source gas (such as propane, methane) is introduced or active carbon atoms are generated through plasma decomposition, so that the carbon element diffuses to the surface of the workpiece to form a high-hardness, wear-resistant carburized layer. Compared with traditional flame carburizing furnaces, flameless carburizing furnaces have the advantages of precise carbon potential control (oxygen probe/infrared monitoring), uniform carburized layer, low energy consumption (energy saving 20-40%), no open flame safety hazards and environmental protection (waste gas emissions are reduced by more than 30%), and are suitable for high-precision and high-consistency carburizing scenarios.
