They also facilitate signaling and safety interlocking in underground substations, pump rooms, transport roadways, extraction faces, and equipment trains. The upstream supply chain includes materials such as cast iron, steel, copper-free aluminum alloy, stainless steel, copper and brass, silver alloy contacts, PA6 and other engineering plastics, rubber sealing materials, springs, insulation components, cable glands, and anti-corrosion coatings. The midstream sector encompasses flameproof enclosure casting or machining, precision machining of flameproof joints, manufacturing of contacts and operating mechanisms, seal assembly, pressure and temperature rise testing, mechanical and electrical endurance testing, internal ignition/non-propagation testing, and certifications such as MA/KA, ATEX, or IECEx. Downstream customers include owners of coal mines and underground metal mines, manufacturers of extraction equipment and mining starters, integrators of conveying and ventilation systems, mining engineering contractors, and maintenance service providers.
