LCP-FCCL (LCP Flexible Copper Clad Laminate) is a high-frequency flexible copper clad laminate made by laminating electrolytic copper foil or rolled copper foil onto one or both sides of a liquid crystal polymer (LCP) film as the dielectric substrate. It features low dielectric constant, low loss, low water absorption, and good dimensional stability, and is primarily used in high-speed, high-frequency FPCs, antennas, and RF module circuits.
The upstream of LCP flexible copper clad laminates includes raw material suppliers such as LCP resin, copper foil, adhesives, and carrier films; the downstream includes FPC manufacturers, antenna and RF module manufacturers, and ultimately, end-user brands in smartphones, wearable devices, communication equipment, and automotive radar.
