The photoactive black phase (α phase) FAPbI₃ easily transforms to the δ phase at room temperature, and its structure needs to be stabilized by component regulation (such as adding Cs⁺, MA⁺) or interface engineering (such as two-dimensional perovskite template). By introducing additives such as pentamidine (PAD), the (001) crystal plane energy can be reduced, promoting the preferential growth of α phase FAPbI₃ along the vertical substrate direction, and significantly improving the crystallization quality and optoelectronic performance. As a candidate material for high-efficiency single-junction solar cells, formamidinium iodide-based perovskite can also be used in stacked cells (such as coupling with silicon-based cells) and flexible photovoltaic devices, promoting the development of photovoltaic technology towards high efficiency and low cost.
