Fluid dispensing pumps are devices that transport, meter, pressurize, and deliver fluid from a reservoir or supply system to the dispensing valve or application point. Common pump technologies include progressive cavity pumps, piston pumps, gear pumps, peristaltic pumps, diaphragm pumps, and screw-based metering pumps. Pumps are selected according to fluid viscosity, required flow rate, dosing accuracy, chemical compatibility, operating pressure, and sensitivity to shear or pulsation. In an integrated dispensing system, the pump provides stable material feeding and accurate volumetric control, while the valve determines the timing and final dispensing pattern.
