The system typically includes conductive pastes, resistive/heater pastes, dielectric insulation pastes, and protective overcoats, which are screen-printed or otherwise deposited on steel, aluminum, ceramic, glass, or polymer substrates and then cured or fired to form controlled heating circuits with fast response, temperature uniformity, reliability, and automotive suitability.
The upstream includes silver, palladium, platinum, gold, copper, nickel and other metal powders, ruthenium-based resistive phases, glass frits, inorganic oxides, resins, and organic solvents. The midstream centers on formulation, dispersion, rheology control, printability tuning, and firing compatibility. The downstream includes thick-film resistors, ceramic sensor circuits, hybrid ICs, power-electronics ceramic substrates, LED ceramic substrates, and thick-film heaters.
