According to our (Global Info Research) latest study, the global Dispensing Machine for Electronic Products market size was valued at US$ 2686 million in 2025 and is forecast to a readjusted size of US$ 3825 million by 2032 with a CAGR of 5.1% during review period.
Electronics Manufacturing Dispensing Equipment refers to complete hardware systems used to meter, transport and precisely deposit liquid or paste materials during semiconductor packaging, printed circuit board assembly, electronic-module production and final electronic-product manufacturing.
The dispensed materials mainly include adhesives, sealants, underfills, encapsulants, thermal-interface materials, gap fillers, solder paste, flux, conductive materials and conformal coatings. The materials may be applied through contact needles, non-contact jetting valves, spray heads or precision metering and mixing systems.
The scope includes compact dispensing units, benchtop robots, stand-alone automated cells, in-line systems, jet dispensers, selective coating systems, vacuum potting equipment and one- or multi-component meter-mix-dispense systems. Integrated vision, height sensing, material feeding, degassing, process monitoring and hardware-bound software are included.
Electronic-product vending machines, dispensing materials, manually operated syringes, separately sold valves and needles, general-purpose robots without dispensing packages, semiconductor front-end deposition equipment and dispensing services are excluded.
The modeled 2025 benchmark ASP is US$35,500 per unit, global equipment volume is approximately 73.523k units, and the modeled gross-margin range is approximately 28%–46%.
The upstream chain includes motors, motion controllers, industrial computers, cameras, sensors, precision pumps, valves, nozzles, pressure vessels, heaters, vacuum components and fluid-control software. Midstream activities include equipment design, motion-system integration, fluid-path development, vision calibration, process-software development, assembly and system validation. Downstream industries mainly include semiconductor packaging, PCB assembly, consumer electronics, automotive electronics, communications, industrial electronics, medical electronics and optoelectronics.
Contact dispensing uses a needle or nozzle positioned close to the substrate, while non-contact jet dispensing ejects individual droplets without touching the workpiece. Jetting can reduce vertical movement and improve cycle time, but its usable material range depends strongly on viscosity, particle size and valve configuration.
Material viscosity changes with temperature. Small temperature variations can alter dot volume, bead width and flow stability, so temperature control is particularly important for highly viscous adhesives and thermal materials.
Underfill performance depends on capillary flow between the semiconductor package and substrate. Board temperature, component temperature, gap size, material viscosity and dispense pattern affect fill time, fillet shape and void formation.
Two-component materials require stable ratio control and complete mixing. Poor metering accuracy can change curing behaviour, while material remaining inside mixers and hoses must be managed within its usable pot life.
Entrapped air and moisture can create voids in potting and encapsulation. Vacuum material preparation or vacuum dispensing is particularly valuable for power electronics, sensors and high-reliability modules.
Highly filled thermal-interface and gap-filler materials can be abrasive. Pumps, valves, seals and nozzles must therefore be selected for wear resistance as well as dispensing accuracy.
PCB warpage and component-height variation can change the distance between the valve and workpiece. Vision positioning and laser-height compensation help maintain the programmed dispense path.
A programmed dispense result is not automatically a verified result. Weight checks, flow monitoring, vision inspection and three-dimensional inspection can improve process control and identify missing, oversized or misplaced deposits.
Material-path design affects waste and production uptime. Long hoses, large dead volumes and frequent purging increase material loss, especially when using costly underfills, conductive adhesives and thermal compounds.
Dispensing and curing should be treated as one process. UV exposure, thermal curing, moisture curing or dual-curing conditions must match the deposited material thickness and geometry.
Future development will focus on higher-speed jetting, smaller deposit sizes, advanced-packaging underfill, automated material changeover, closed-loop inspection, digital traceability and lower material waste.
