Downstream customers are predominantly oil refining enterprises; the catalysts are loaded into fixed-bed hydroprocessing reactors to treat feedstocks—including gasoline fractions, naphtha, kerosene, diesel, gas oil, and residual oil—under specific temperature and pressure conditions in the presence of hydrogen. These processes yield low-sulfur gasoline and diesel, aviation kerosene, low-sulfur fuel oil, or high-quality FCC (Fluid Catalytic Cracking) feedstock.
