Upstream materials primarily consist of alumina, molecular sieves, silica-alumina materials, titanosilicates, activated carbon, binders, and metal salts/carrier materials (including nickel, molybdenum, cobalt, tungsten, platinum, and palladium); some products also incorporate precious metals, modified molecular sieves, and specialized shaping additives. Midstream processes involve carrier preparation, metal impregnation, drying and calcination, extrusion, activation, graded loading, and catalyst system design. Downstream applications primarily include HVO, HEFA-SAF, renewable diesel, bio-jet fuel, and FT synthetic fuels.
In 2025, global sales volume is projected to be approximately 5,800 metric tons, with a mainstream ex-factory price of around $38/kg and gross margins for major manufacturers ranging from 32% to 48%.
