An automotive blind spot monitoring camera lens is an automotive-grade optical lens assembly mounted around the side mirror, fender, B-pillar or vehicle side area to capture images of the side-rear blind zone, adjacent lanes and surrounding lateral environment. It is used in side-view cameras, blind spot view monitors, surround-view systems, camera monitoring systems and side-detection ADAS applications. The lens must provide wide field of view, controlled distortion, high transmission, HDR compatibility, environmental durability, vibration resistance, moisture resistance and automotive-grade reliability under temperature, humidity, UV, salt-spray and mechanical stress conditions.
