BPA-NI Coating generally refers to a coating in which BPA-NI stands for Bisphenol A Non-Intent, meaning no BPA is intentionally added. Upstream, the raw materials for these coatings include primary resins (polyester, acrylic, or non-BPA epoxy), crosslinking agents (amino or phenolic types), pigments, fillers, and functional additives. Downstream, these coatings are predominantly applied to beverage cans, food cans, and similar metal packaging.
In 2025, global sales of BPA-NI Coating reached approximately 35 K tons, with an average global market price of around US$ 3,335/ton. Production capacity varies significantly among manufacturers, with gross profit margins ranging from approximately 20% to 40%.
