A bilevel positive pressure machine is a medical device used to treat respiratory conditions or conditions such as sleep apnea. It helps patients breathe by providing positive pressure airflow to improve respiratory function and oxygen supply. Bi-level positive pressure ventilators have two different pressure levels compared to traditional continuous positive pressure ventilators. During exhalation, it provides lower pressure (EPAP, expiratory positive pressure) to maintain airway patency and reduce obstruction and resistance. When inhaling, it provides a higher pressure (IPAP, inspiratory positive pressure) to help patients overcome the resistance of the respiratory muscles and increase gas flux. Bilevel positive pressure ventilators can be adjusted to accommodate different breathing patterns and pressure settings based on patient needs and physician guidance. It can provide personalized treatment, improve the patient"s ventilation and oxygenation, and reduce dyspnea and sleep disturbance.
