The midstream consists of alkali-resistant glass fiber yarn manufacturers, who produce high-zirconium-content alkali-resistant glass fiber yarn, jet yarn, direct untwisted roving, and chopped strand yarn through processes such as batching and melting, spinneret drawing, impregnating agent coating, bundling, plying, and twisting. The downstream applications are mainly in glass fiber reinforced cement (GRC/GFRC), building curtain walls, waterproofing materials, exterior insulation systems (EIFS), industrial corrosion protection, and various cement-based composite materials.
