AI edge computing boxes can usually be equipped with a variety of AI computing chips for different application scenarios, algorithm/performance requirements, such as graphics rendering GPU, neural network acceleration NPU, etc. By integrating AI computing chips and algorithms, the difference between edge boxes and conventional edge computing gateways or industrial control is edge computing capabilities, which are suitable for scenarios with high real-time requirements, large data volumes, and limited network bandwidth.
