      Ultrasonic gas leak detection (UGLD) is a comparatively recent detection technique and has emerged as an effective means of establishing the presence of gas leaks. It works especially well in open, ventilated areas where other methods of gas detection may not be independent of ventilation. Because UGLDs respond to the source of the leak, rather than the gas itself, they complement sensors that measure gas concentration.
      The increase in adoption of gas turbine power plants is one of the key factors driving the market’s growth prospects. The replacement of coal-fired power plants by natural gas-based turbine power plants is driving the growth of the market for gas turbines. The rising adoption of gas turbine power plants will directly boost the demand for ultrasonic gas leak detectors. However, these gas turbines are associated with risks and hazards of fuel leaks.
