Key applications include shielding covers for mobile phones and electronic devices, crystal oscillator housings, connectors and contact springs, potentiometer wipers, automotive keys and locks, optical instruments, medical devices, watch components, precision turned parts, wind instruments, jewelry and high-end consumer goods, as well as commemorative and circulating coins. The upstream supply chain primarily comprises electrolytic copper, refined nickel, zinc ingots, copper-nickel-zinc alloy scrap (remelt stock), deoxidizers, refining agents, rolling oils, pickling agents, and packaging materials.
