It has high wear resistance, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance and excellent bonding performance, and is widely used in mechanical seals, pump and valve linings, mining equipment liners, pipeline wear-resistant layers and industrial tool surface protection. Its upstream raw materials include alumina, silicon carbide, silicon nitride ceramic particles, epoxy resin or polyurethane matrix, curing agent and additives. On average, each ton of wear-resistant adhesive consumes approximately 650 kg of ceramic particles, 250 kg of matrix material, and 50 kg of additives. Downstream, it mainly supplies mining equipment manufacturers, metallurgical, building materials and pump and valve companies, with mining and metallurgy accounting for 50%, pumps, valves and pipelines accounting for 30%, and other industrial equipment accounting for 20%. The global total capacity is approximately 8,000 tons/year, and the industry gross profit margin is approximately 28%-38%. In terms of downstream consumption, new equipment production accounts for 60%, and maintenance and replacement account for 40%.
