    A Volumetric Progressive Cavity Pump also known as Progressing Cavity Pump (PCP) is a positive displacement pump and is also known as a single screw Pump, proggcavity pump, eccentric screw pump or cavity pump. It uses a single screw (the rotor) which meshes with a stator to create cavities that move fluid along the axis of the pump.
