    From the upstream perspective, the raw-material base of supercritical-foamed TPE consists primarily of TPE resin/compound systems, which may include styrenic block copolymer-based TPEs (TPE-S/TPS), thermoplastic polyolefins (TPO), thermoplastic vulcanizates (TPV), thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPU), thermoplastic copolyester elastomers (TPEE/TPC), and polyether block amides (PEBA/TPAE). Their formulation may further involve polymer modifiers, chain extenders, nucleating agents, reinforcing fillers, and other additives used to improve melt strength, cell stabilization, rebound, dimensional stability, and thermal or mechanical performance. From the downstream perspective, the most representative directions include footwear and sports cushioning, automotive and transportation sealing/NVH components, industrial cushioning, sound/thermal insulation and energy-management materials, electrical/electronic shielding and functional foam components, and medical or rehabilitation-related porous elastomer products.
