    Self-operated regulating valve, also known as self-operated control valve, is a special regulating valve. Its working principle mainly relies on the pressure, temperature and other parameters of the medium flowing through the valve as energy to drive the valve to work automatically. This valve does not require external power supply and secondary instrumentation, so it has a high degree of autonomy and convenience.
    According to the different objects of regulation, self-operated regulating valves are mainly divided into several types such as self-operated pressure regulating valves, self-operated pressure differential regulating valves, self-operated temperature regulating valves and self-operated flow regulating valves. Their working principles are based on the feedback signal (such as pressure, pressure differential, temperature, etc.) at the output end of the valve being transmitted to the actuator through the signal tube, and then driving the valve disc to change the opening of the valve to achieve the purpose of regulating parameters such as pressure, flow, temperature, etc.
    In terms of structure, self-operated regulating valves are divided into direct-acting and indirect-acting types. The direct-acting type is also called the spring-loaded type. Its structure contains elastic elements such as springs and bellows, and uses the principle of balance between elastic force and feedback signal to achieve regulation. The indirect-acting type adds a pilot valve to amplify the feedback signal, and then drives the main valve disc to move through the actuator to achieve the purpose of changing the valve opening.
    Self-acting regulating valves are widely used in industrial production, especially in closed water circulation systems (such as hot water heating systems, air conditioning chilled water systems), which can easily achieve system flow distribution, dynamic balance and stable pump working state. At the same time, since it does not require external energy and can work in places without electricity and gas, it is both convenient and energy-saving.
