    Metal processing lubricant as known as metalworking fluid, is a lubricant specially used in the metal processing process, aiming to improve processing efficiency, reduce costs, improve product quality and reduce environmental pollution. Metalworking lubricants usually consist of base oils, additives and functional agents. Base oil is the main component of lubricants, and it can be mineral oil or synthetic oil. Additives and functional agents are used to enhance the performance of lubricants, such as antioxidants, anti-wear agents, anti-emulsifiers, etc. Metal processing lubricants have a wide range of applications, including cutting, grinding, drilling, stamping, bending and other metal processing processes. They can effectively reduce the friction between the tool and the workpiece, improve processing accuracy and efficiency, while protecting the workpiece surface from oxidation or corrosion.
    1. Multifunctionality
    The application scope of metalworking fluids covers a variety of processing methods such as rolling, drawing, extrusion, forging and cutting. Its wide application field and complex use environment characteristics determine that metalworking fluids must have multifunctional characteristics. At present, metalworking processes have put forward more urgent demands for metalworking fluids with wider adaptability.     2. Green and environmental protection
