Their workflows integrate specimen collection, preservation, cell enrichment, thin-layer slide preparation and compatibility with selected downstream molecular assays. Manufacturers in South Korea, Italy, Malaysia and China compete through membrane filtration, centrifugation, gravity sedimentation and hybrid processing technologies, often emphasizing lower equipment costs, lower per-test consumable costs, flexible system compatibility and local technical service. Because preservative media, processing consumables, instrument settings and staining procedures are closely linked, laboratories generally avoid frequent platform changes after completing clinical validation.
