    Industrial Vehicle Collision Avoidance System are active safety systems designed for forklifts, tow tractors, AGVs/AMRs, mining vehicles, port equipment, construction machinery and other mobile industrial equipment operating in warehouses, manufacturing plants, mines, ports, yards and other industrial sites.
    Industrial Vehicle Collision Avoidance System market should be understood as a specialized active-safety segment rather than a generic forklift accessory or a broad automotive ADAS category. In industrial environments, traditional controls such as operator training, horns, beacons, blue lights, mirrors, physical barriers and high-visibility clothing remain important, but they do not fully address dynamic risks in blind corners, narrow aisles, loading docks, noisy plants, night shifts and mixed pedestrian-vehicle traffic. The new generation of systems combines UWB, RFID, magnetic-field detection, AI cameras, radar, LiDAR, RTLS, vehicle controllers and cloud analytics to identify pedestrians, vehicles, obstacles and fixed infrastructure within predefined risk zones. The narrow market scope used in this study focuses on dedicated systems for industrial vehicles and mobile equipment, including hardware, software, installation, integration, analytics and after-sales service. It excludes generic road-vehicle ADAS, passive barriers, simple cameras without collision logic and fleet telematics without active proximity or collision-avoidance functions.

In mining, the value proposition is more mission-critical: large haul trucks and underground mobile equipment create severe risk exposure, and the industry is moving toward EMESRT Level 9 intervention, ISO 21815 interoperability and mixed-fleet safety integration. Official safety agencies have long highlighted the risks associated with powered industrial trucks, workplace transport and mobile mining equipment, which supports the underlying demand case even where dedicated collision-avoidance systems are not yet mandated in every jurisdiction.
    From a technology perspective, tag-based systems remain important because they can detect trained workers through racks, walls or visual obstruction and can be implemented at large scale with predictable performance. AI vision is gaining share because it can detect untagged pedestrians, vehicles and obstacles, but its effectiveness depends on lighting, camera placement, dust, weather, processing latency and false-alarm management. Mining systems require a higher degree of sensor fusion, GNSS, UWB/RF, radar, LiDAR, vehicle-control integration and fleet-management connectivity.
