    The high voltage battery management system is an electronic control unit specifically designed to monitor, protect, and manage the high-voltage battery pack in electric vehicles or energy storage devices; it is often referred to as the "brain" of the battery pack. It controls the on/off switching of high-voltage relays and completes high-voltage system insulation monitoring and CAN communication with the vehicle controller or charger, ensuring reliable operation of the high-voltage power battery within its safe operating range and maximizing its service life.

    The HVBS process involves first fabricating a multi-layer PCB based on the circuit design, using a high-voltage insulating substrate. Selective wave soldering connects the shunt and high-current terminals. Following this, conformal coating and UV curing are applied to enhance moisture resistance and insulation. Finally, insulation withstand voltage (EOL) testing and high/low temperature aging verification are completed before the system can be shipped.
