        Heavy duty robot platforms are mobile platforms that make use of sensors, visual systems, and steering and positioning systems to support mobile navigation. These robots possess a communication network that links them to the operator for controlling movement. These mobile platforms have a payload capacity of greater than 35 lbs and are deployed in rugged terrain only.
