Product formats include customized engineered models, living or cryopreserved organoids, organoid culture kits, and drug screening or evaluation services. They are primarily used in hair growth mechanism research, alopecia and hair graying disease modeling, screening of hair growth or anti-hair loss compounds, cosmetic efficacy evaluation, and development of hair regeneration therapies. The overall gross margin is approximately 62%.
    Downstream demand is mainly driven by hair loss drug development, functional scalp care products, and the replacement of animal testing in cosmetics evaluation. Traditional 2D models based on dermal papilla cells, keratinocytes, and ex vivo hair follicles are limited in structural complexity, culture stability, sample consistency, and human physiological relevance.
