Principal product forms include main shafts, hollow shafts, rotor and generator shafts, gearbox shafts, gear blanks, ring gears, planetary components, bearing rings, forged discs, hubs, tower flanges, monopile flanges, transition-piece flanges and other large rings. These components transmit torque, support radial, axial and overturning loads, connect structural sections and maintain dimensional stability under cyclic loading, vibration, low temperature, salt spray and offshore dynamic conditions. Critical specifications include finished weight, outside diameter, length, forging ratio, metallurgical cleanliness, grain size, strength–toughness balance, hardenability, fatigue performance, dimensional tolerances and ultrasonic inspection acceptance level.
