Its upstream raw materials include silica sand, pyrophyllite, limestone, borates, soda ash, sizing agents, silane coupling agents, film formers, lubricants, resin-compatible additives, natural gas, and electricity. Downstream applications include FRP panels, GRC, sanitary ware, automotive parts, pipes and tanks, corrosion-resistant equipment, boats, cooling towers, wind-energy supporting parts, construction profiles, and general industrial composites. Compared with direct roving, assembled roving focuses more on clean chopping, fiber dispersion, resin wet-out, low fuzz, strand stability, and suitability for mass-production composite molding.
