According to our (Global Info Research) latest study, the global Cleaner Jet Fuels market size was valued at US$ 13243 million in 2025 and is forecast to a readjusted size of US$ 69387 million by 2032 with a CAGR of 26.5% during review period.
In 2025, global Cleaner Jet Fuel production reached approximately 9.2 million tons, supported by an installed capacity of about 13.4 million tons, with an average unit price of around USD 1,400 per ton and industry gross margins near 23%. Cleaner Jet Fuels refer to low-carbon aviation fuels designed to reduce lifecycle greenhouse-gas emissions and non-CO₂ pollutants compared with conventional petroleum-based Jet A/A-1, including Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) produced from bio-based feedstocks (used cooking oil, animal fats, agricultural residues, municipal waste), synthetic e-fuels made via Power-to-Liquid (green hydrogen + captured CO₂), and upgraded fossil fuels with reduced aromatics and sulfur. Their supply chain spans upstream feedstock collection or CO₂ capture and renewable power generation; midstream conversion through processes such as HEFA, Fischer–Tropsch, Alcohol-to-Jet, or PtL synthesis; blending and certification under ASTM D7566; and downstream logistics involving fuel terminals, pipelines, and airport hydrant systems, where cleaner fuels are typically blended 10–50% with conventional jet fuel before distribution to airlines. Value is concentrated in feedstock aggregation, conversion technology, and certification/compliance layers, while scale is constrained by sustainable feedstock availability, green hydrogen cost, and refinery retrofitting capacity.
