    Block Layer Virtualization Service is fundamentally an abstraction market: it separates the logical block devices consumed by applications from the physical location, ownership, and configuration of disks, servers, storage arrays, and cloud infrastructure. This enables enterprises to provision capacity, performance, protection, and availability according to application policies rather than individual hardware boundaries.
